For sale 1951 Spartanette Tandem trailer.   Asking $5000 or best offer.   The serial number is 130-51-1343. The good:  very solid, original floor, stove and refrigerator(works).  All most all of the original paneling, drawers, wood work is still in fairly good condition.  The bad:  does  not have a title, windows all need new rubber and weather stripping , a lot of the drawers and woodwork  will need re-gluing and refinishing,  missing one bed, no toilet in the bathroom.  Also both door handles have been broken as people want to pull on them instead of turning them.    The trailer should pull easily however I would recommend new tires as I haven't  changed the tires since maybe '94.  I have older(early 50's) 6 bolt Chevy 15 inch rims on the trailer but I would not trust the tires at this point.  I would also recommend repacking the wheel bearings before towing too far.  I could repack them if the weather permits.    I have all of the original manual for the trailer, stove, refrigerator,  plumbing diagram,  and some other things that came with the trailer.  It is solid but it would be hard to bring it up to show quality however it  could make a very nice useable and fun travel trailer with a lot of elbow grease.
